Suggestions and tips for cooking with our Ready Tomato Sauce with Basil: following are several suggestions for using our ready tomato sauce: 1) heat the sauce for about 2 minutes in a pan or microwave oven and pour over or stir in the drained pasta of your choice; 2) heat a drizzle of extra-virgin olive oil in a saucepan and gently fry some garlic and diced celery, carrot and onion (or other ingredients, as you prefer), add the sauce and then the drained pasta, al dente, and stir over low heat; 3) use the tomato and basil sauce as a ready base for other recipes by simply adding the extra ingredients; 4) heat and use as a garnish for hors d’oeuvres or as a condiment for pizzas.
