Whole Premium White Truffles (tuber magnatum pico) preserved in salt water (brine) with no added preservatives, are available in glass jars of various sizes; they are an excellent substitute for Fresh Truffles.
Cooking with Whole Premium White Truffles: whole premium white truffles in brine can be sliced directly onto pasta or rice dishes, like fresh truffles, or ground and heated in oil or butter and used as a flavour some condiment in risottos, pasta dishes (fettuccine, tagliatelle or tagliolini – see our suggested recipe), fried eggs, meat or fish dishes and hors d’oeuvres. You can also use the preservation brine as a condiment because it is imbued with the aroma of the truffles. The suggested serving dose is 15-20 g per person.
Storing Whole Premium White Truffles: before opening the jar can be kept at room temperature; after opening refrigerate and use within a few days.
