Our White Truffle flavoured Grappa is obtained from the infusion of White Truffle in the traditional Italian liquor distilled from the best pomace. Our suggestion is to serve it at the end of a meal, thanks to its excellent digestive properties, or in the middle of the afternoon, with some nibbles. Its unique characteristic is the special and delicate aftertaste of White Truffle, the most coveted of truffles.
Serving White Truffle flavoured Grappa: ideal as an after-dinner digestif, it is best served at a temperature of between 8 and 10 °C. The low temperature will make it taste less alcoholic, while preserving its original characteristics. To fully appreciate both nose and taste it is preferable to use the special tulip glasses filled to about a quarter; leave it for about 10 minutes and then sniff to appreciate the aroma of pomace and White Truffle. Sip the grappa, hold it briefly in the mouth and then swish it and swallow, to fully savour the unique properties of Sulpizio’s White Truffle flavoured Grappa. Classic pairings are with dark chocolate or fatty cold cuts, because these foods rich in fat tend to coat the inside of the mouth, thus considerably reducing the taste of the alcohol and making it more tolerable. Another excellent match is with crostini with Truffle flavoured Honey, fruit dessert and semifreddo.
Storing the White Truffle flavoured Grappa: keep in the fridge or the pantry, depending on how you prefer it. Keep the bottle away from heat and direct sunlight.
